Today!

Just keeping the kids busy at home. Probably gonna play some cootie with Adam (got it for Christmas) and some Settlers of Catan with Rebekah (Christmas present). Laundry needs to be done today too. Oh and we might even look at a house today. Finally we are looking at moving into something that can accomodate our family better. A family of 5 living in barely 1000 sq ft is not the most fun for sure.

Tomorrow!?!

What to do? What to do? I'm not sure but isn't that great?!? Rob and I will be all alone in the next couple days. We actually were able to spend alone time about a month ago, though, we went to a Christmas party and was stupid so paid with a gnarly hangover the next day. It was great and fun but we weren't well enough to really really enjoy it. My Mom is great enough to take my kids. She offered! I'm really lucky and thankful for all the help that I receive.

I'm Back!!

Okay my measley two posts may not give me the ability to say that I was really here or a blogger in the first place, however, my intentions were as such.

Shortly after my last blog post I had some troubling realizations about my Ethan; that perhaps he may be on the spectrum as well. After getting him in early intervention at barely a year it was finally confirmed at 2 1/2 years of age with a pddnos diagnosis. Here is a link on pddnos http://www.autismspeaks.org/navigating/pdd_nos.php. Its a ridiculous diagnosis, in my opinion, because if you really pay attention to the diagnosis process it is pretty subjective. Ethan met all criteria but some areas were too mild in the psychologists opinion to be considered "classic autism". Needless to say I've been busy dealing with the tasks involved in his weekly therapies as well as understanding autism once school starts with regard to my Adam. Rebekah is doing well, she is 10 now and is a huge help. I love her so much and am so proud of who she is becoming.

Keep posted for more!
